HPV Vaccine Victim Sues Merck

Naomi Snell, a woman in Melbourne, Australia, is leading a class action suit against Merck after suffering from an auto-immune and neurological attack following injections with the HPV vaccine Gardasil.  Another seven women are considering joining the court case against.  One attributed a miscarriage to the injections.

Ms. Snell says that for more than two years, she lost the ability to walk, suffered crippling back and neck pain, and experienced convulsions.  The symptoms started soon after her first dose of Gardasil.

According to the Courier Mail:

“It wasn’t until she read an article about a Sydney neurologist uncovering Gardasil as a potential cause of MS-like symptoms in other women that she made a timeline of her deterioration from reports from her doctors and physiotherapist.”
